We respect the artists' efforts put into them but if it's a distasteful kind of music for our liking, then there's nothing wrong with voicing our opinions about it.

It's human; not hypocritical.

Music is a form of art; not all art is appealing to everybody, but I do respect the fact that someone worked hard to create it......

I don't thing bashing a genre then labeling it boring and absurd is very constructive. Minimal sounds are not made for everyone and they require a refined specialized taste in certain elements of EDM, surely its not everyone's cuppa, but bashing without a solid reason is disrespectful!

ok guys hold your horses! i'm not hypocrite Mr. Khaled, and def i think my taste buds are evolved enough Mr. bronko! i think you know better! and for sure i'm always with respecting other styles of MUSIC! you can hate vocal trance or love it it doesnt change a thing but my point of view is that it's all MUSIC! well minimal IS NOT! it's usually 2 to 3 random elements thrown over a bassline! and i'm now talking technical, one might like it others might not! heck some ppl might like the sound of thunder but it's definitely not MUSIC!
minimal production is absolutely ridiculous that would take maybe 5 mins to complete a full track (again composed of 2 to 3 elements and a bassline) and i think the ones who produce in here know the difference between a multilayered full of element track and a.. minimal one!
when there's effort we all should respect the work even if it's not our taste but someone needs yet to show me any effort in MINIMAL production and i'll then have my hat down!

^ well Kay i appreciate your help in trying to give a better image of "MINIMAL" and indeed these tracks are in general richer than the standard productions but still you cant change the fact that all of them are repetitive, emotionless, thoughtless, and simply going nowhere!! nothing happens in MINIMAL, they simply go on and on and on.. i wonder where is the creativity and where is the breakout of boundaries? something that surely applies to all sorts of music when someone is actually producing something.
You know what MINIMAL sounds like? the intro and outro of House/Trance tracks! one can easily cut these parts out and create endless number of "MINIMAL"!
Sorry if i sound hard Kay, pls dont take it personal but unfortunately i'm still way far from acknowledging this as a Music in order respect it even if it's not to my liking!
