There will be no Loveparade party in the West German city Bochum this year. One of the worlds most famous outdoor EDM events has been cancelled.
The organisation and the local authorities are afraid that too many people will visit the city and they can't handle that. The organisation will not look for another option this year. In 2010 they plan to do a new Loveparade party somewhere else though.
In 2008 the Loveparade in Dortmund had a new record with around 1.6 million visitors. In the past the Loveparde was always being held in the German city Berlin, but because of problems with permits, the Loveparade organisation started in the Ruhr area in 2007.

Welcome to DJ.Malaria you may wonder why I called this group Dj Malaria.
