For a first episode of a new year, this is one hell of a way to kick off 2008! I didn't have a cool day so i'm more than satisfied with this successful and Tranzy episode

Due to my Polish and Lebanese origins, i wanna start this review by saying first that i'm very happy to see 3 remixes of Polish DJs, one of them being the Tune Of The Week! Nitrous Oxide made a wonderful remix of the young Dutch DJ Marninx - Pure Sense. As for Armin, he made the right choice

Second, i'll jump all the way to the 18th track just to confirm what Roonaldo and Tranced said in another topic of ASOT. The singer of Danjo - As The Tables Turn did say "Beirut" in an oriental way

Now, back to the episode in general. The first 3 tracks are vocal, nothing more nothing less. Remixes by Dirty South and Deadmau5 would be perfect choices at Gemmayzeh and Monot pubs and clubs. You know what i mean

-Of course my personal favorite of those 3 is Kirsty Hawkshaw meets Tenishia - Invisible. The duo from Malta has been doing a good job the last 2 years or so. This new track with Kirsty is also enjoyable. Perfect for a warm-up!
-Fans of Maor Levi will definitely love his new remix of Arnej - People Come People Go! I like him (and don't care about his nationality) and i definitely like this remix. Maor is a great artist and i hope to hear more from him in the next years. Let's keep an eye on him this year! We're still in the warm-up part of the set.
-Usually the energy starts rising at the 8 or 9th track, which would be from 50th minute of the show (out of 120). But this time it started with 06. Rozza - Never Never Land! And no, Never is not repeated

-Like Entranced said at di.fm forum "a family that trances together stays together". He had in mind Matt Cerf and Jaren Cerf. If i'm not mistaken, they are a married couple

-I'm certainly not a fan of male vocals, but Ferry Corsten & Howard Jones - Into the Dark is cool! Not too tough, not too fast, simply relaxing and fans of male singers will like this track for sure!
-Now, time for the Tune Of The Week! Marninx, one of the many young Dutch DJs joining the scene, and Nitrous Oxide, from Anjunabeats and Somatic Sense among others and definitely a rising star of the Polish Trance scene, my favorite DJ from there with Adam Nickey. Nitrous Oxide is becoming more and more appreciated and i hope that 2008 will be another great year, another big step, for Poland in the Trance scene! Any fan of Uplifting Trance, or of N2O, or of Marninx, should have this track! But for now, enjoy it on ASOT

-Again, back to Paul Miller! He's also new in the scene. If you check his MySpace profile or the topics of ASOT 313 and 326, you will see his tracks [/i]Crystal Star[/i] and Memories of Love. Uplifting beauties!

-Mauro Picotto seems to be back? Or is Angel an old track? I've never been a fan of Mauro so i don't know well his discography. But either way, the name is back on the Trance scene after some time with a remix of the newcomer Rex Mundi. Well done remix

-14th and 15th track... ummm... nevermind

-Time for the Future Favorite! Lemon & Einar K - Anticipation was played at ASOT 330 and the listeners voted for this track. As a reminder, episode 331 was the Top20 of 2007, 332 the YearMix of 2007 and 333 a live set from an Amsterdam club. Personally i love the vocals in this track! With full volume they can penetrate the mind

-Correlation by Robbie Van Doe keeps you in a hypnotic state. This track fits well in the climax part of any set i guess. The dreamy melody made me ask for more but unfortunately the show was nearing its end.
-Back to the 18th track of the set, Danjo - As the Tables Turn. Danjo is no other but half of the great duo Danjo & Styles. I'd really love to know who the singer saying "Beirut" is in this track! Coincidence or done on purpose? Either way, i'm sure this is one reason why you'll love this track

-The 19th track is by a DJ who gave us a visit 21 days ago, on the 21st of December! Trancers, Ocean Drive Boulevard by the young and talented rising star Leon Bolier! \o/ Very nice track to end this amazing episode

-And as always, the best is always kept for the end with a Classic track

Above & Beyond + Justine Suissa = Beautiful Together x Nitrous Oxide = *faints*!!

See ya next week Tranceheads
