Vincent De Moor - Mystique Colors / Cressidia

Postby samer » Sat Mar 18, 2006 5:30 pm

I just cant get enough of this!!

one of the pioneers of Trance has returned with a huge release!!
like usual, VDM releases only quality tracks.. true Trance definition can be found in each track this producer creates and this time he means business!

Mystique Colors is a tribute to Trance of the 90s in terms of techniques and structure but with the sound of 2006!!
an Epic Trancer is here ppl.. the trance that used to exist without definitions, without rules and without standards..
The tracks starts off very minimal then progressively starts adding up its elements forming a wonderful melodic trancer with one hell of a hook melody that just gets stuck in your head refusing to let go.. remember the old days where tracks used to go by chunks? where every few minutes the tracks gets totally changed and all instruments gets replaced then everything gets mixed altogether?! total addiction from the first second till the end!! (i couldnt help it but to double the duration of this sample just in order to give a little idea about the diversity of this track!!)

Cressidia is an old track of VDM already produced back in 2000 that starts off faster than Mystique Colors but with a similar structure where the sound is somehow more rough and dry with another hook melody that gets played over and over with some beautiful acid synths along the way forming a beautiful uplifter!!

Tracklist:
----------
01. -- 07:53
02. -- 07:13

I seriously enjoyed both tracks; they've both got this old school (as mentioned in the review) feel to them!
