The Green Martian ~ BEST OF

The Green Martian presents his Best Of EP. His name has been around now for many years, with many very succesful records. The Green Martian is Laurent Véronnez - the man that produces under Lolo, L-Vee, Antidote, Planisphere, and recently delivered his Airwave album. This alias has been supported by almost all the jocks and is known for the darker, harder approach.
Industry
Heavily supported by top jocks back in 2000, especially by Tiësto, who played it in almost every set back then. It was THE breakthrough for The Green Martian - a dark rave sound mixed with a banging bassline. It builds up very slow with eery sounds and a superscary melody. Great stuff for the end of the set!
Harmonic Minor
What makes this track so cool is the incredibly banging bass. It almost sounds like a Hard House stomptrack when it starts. However, dark basslines and pads are cleverly and slowly creeping into the track. It builds up to a super-exciting breakdown, where the melody is re-introduced in an even crazier, chaotic way. Absolutely massive stuff.
Wizardry
When u first hear it, it is far from what you expect from the TGM alias. The bassline is easy, almost Airwave-like, and it all sounds very trancy. The track intensifies with more and more effects added, till a very strange sounding break, with an exceptional synth introducing the long-edged melodyline. The tranciest track on this EP.
The End Of The Earth [2002 Remake]
Also a really big hit back in 2002; a remake of the original track from the man himself. Quite similar to Industry, only a little harder and tougher. A very repetitive melody with a pretty hard electronic feel. A long breakdown with very dark and sinister sounds before rolling on as an unstoppable train.
Massive Hard Trance with a lot of classics and definetly a good catch for anyone who is into Hard Trance (that means you commando!
