Ace Da Brain a.k.a. Ace's Delight is one of my favorite producers, although he is not so well-known. What I particularly like about him is his mixture of classical Trance with monstrous beats resulting in massive Uplifting Trance. This release is another clear example of this man's genius, for which he merits much more recognition than is currently given to him.
Hard Mix is not quite my taste, a bit too hard on my ears, but with one wicked breakdown.
Liquid Mix is more melodic, but without the wicked breakdown of the Hard Mix, so it's just another trancer, nothing "Acey" about it much.
Aerial Mix places the emphasis on a less evident melody, in the same style as the Liquid Mix, but once again the wicked breakdown of the Hard Mix is missing.
In sum, I am slightly disappointed at this particular release, because unlike his previous Mental Theme and Sunrise, the best mix of the vinyl does not include his breakdowns for which I kneel to. Nonetheless, this release remains a very precious one, and one that I recommend to all Uplifting Trance lovers!
