I've been away from reviewing Ambient Trance for quite a while, but this album spilled the beans! Flying off to UK in this review where Tripswitch mastered this deeply emotional journey into an absolute unknown medium and spiritual perception that I could have never got to individually. Tripswitch are an english four piece who have played with Oms, Earthtone 9, Skindred, Miocene, Raging Speedhorn, and Lost Prophets to name a few. The band comprises of Jamie - Vocals, Pete - Drums + Samples, Rick - Bass and Shaun - Guitar.
A dreaming brain, beautiful calm imaginative chunks, and emotionally stimulating breaks show up in 'Indigo' and 'Cartwheel'. Eventually, the album is then given a faster tempo in 'Silver Robot Baby Mix' and 'Viscous'. The rest stands for the top shelf of what Ambient Trance might present. I've never listened to Ambient with such an influence from Breaks, and my crush on breaks just never seems to back off. How could it and we can still run into such a stunning sound! This complex ambient material isnt any help in reviewing. Undescribtive, incredible, and uncomprehensve.
More over, only one word can describe this album fairly enough: TOUCHING!
