It’s been two years since Lasgo first burst on to the club scene with their enormous smash hit single Something, which became one of the biggest-selling singles of 2002 and catapulted Evi, Peter, and Dave from Belgian wannabes to international stars.
With follow up smashes Alone and Pray, and Lasgo’s debut album Some Things, a string of live performances, including the Smash Hits Poll winners Tour where they picked up Dance Act at the Smash Hits Awards, Lasgo have built a formidable fan base in the UK.
After spending much of 2003 touring Europe and the US, Lasgo returned to the studio to record their second album. The first slab of pure euro-Trance is Surrender.
Its trademark combination of Evi’s haunting vocals and the boys’ hook-filled melodies is undeniably Lasgo, whilst extra stardust has been added by recent number one stars LMC who have remixed it exclusively for the UK.
Other mixes come courtesy of an array of top international talent including the awesome Nick Skitz Club Mix which is destined to keep Lasgo on every club play list from here to Ibiza throughout the summer. With a tougher approach than its fellow mixes combined with the track's bouncy melodies and vocals, this will be cained up and down the UK.
In the past year that Lasgo have been away there have been many imitations but now the real deal is back. Time to surrender to Lasgo all over again!
