Talented teenage UK tranceweapon George Hales targeted the trance market during this spring with, ironically with the spring season, a track called Autumn Falls. George Hales has co-produced under the Aspiration alias some time ago, with their remix of Jose Amnesia ~ The Eternal being well-received. Now he goes solo, with on the flipside a Saint John versus Locust (i.e. John Sims and Perry O’Neil) remix.
Original Mix
This A-side is an uplifting stormer from the start. The fast-paced bassline and electric effects mean one thing from the start: uplifting Trance. The track builds up with a nice lead that slowly evolves in a melody. A trancy breakdown with a piano-intermezzo give some rest in the track, before the melody builds up again and lifts off full force. A great trancy production, designed for dancefloor success.
Saint John versus Locust Remix
These guys have debuted with Mind Circles some time ago and Locust (a.k.a. Perry O'Neill) has done a couple of remixes and some amazing productions/remixes under his own name. They team up again to deliver another interpretation. It's pretty much along the lines of the Original Mix only the sounds and melody sound a little deeper than the Original. There's a breakbeat part added in the middle of the track, which seems to be kind of a hype lately in Trance tracks, but it sounds very decent and doesn't annoy or interfere at all. The start and end of the track contain very atmospheric background sounds, that gives this mix just that little subtle extra touch to make it different enough. Great work again by the guys.
A wonderfull job by all of the guys involved in this project. George Hales can be proud of delivering such a nice production on such a young age - a man to look out for in the future.
