Though the tin says progressive psy, there's far more in this compilation than that!
I can't say much about this release because I can't really put it in words; I absolutely love it at the turn of every corner! This can easily be my compilation of the year. Brilliant, brilliant!!
Beats? Check.
Synth? Check.
Power? Check.
Melody? Check.
Structure & substance? Check.
This is platinum material that will not let you down. Love it, love it, love it!! Hits the spot! My only critique would probably be the release's failure to move up from progressive. After building up so nicely, I would have loved a grand 140+ bpm finale but that would defy the whole progressive theme of the compilation so I'm truly willing to accept that. 14 tunes of the same genre seems a bit too much for an occasional listener and it might get a bit monotonous, but there's enough material in the compilation to build a progressve-full-on-psy-set to wet your pants.
Nerso, Zyce, & Flegma are on fire lately. I can't wait for their debut albums. Though their releases have been scattered on compilations everywhere you look, the albums will have to be huge - no doubt.
The USB also includes remix files of Pressure, Evolve, Feed Your Ego, & Basic for producers to tinker with.
Samples will never do this enough justice but it's a priceless teaser for a truly priceless release!
