After the quality vinyl released earlier this year (The Search For Freedom & Take The Day As It Comes), Active Sight is back with a second release. On the A-side is 'Out Of Our Lives'. After a couple of minutes of the beat building up, you could hear a very deep pad playing in the background, and the bassline turns from a monotonous to a trancy one. The deep warm pad gets brigther as the track progresses, and after another couple of minutes of dreamy music, the breakdown falls upon us with a sort of minor breakbeat, and the main melody brilliantly creeps up on you quietly and slowly, right until the track reaches its climax - and boy what a climax! Incredibly beautiful melody, the kind you just want close your eyes and surrender to. As beautiful as Trance can get.

Just one minute through the second track of this vinyl and you could easily recognize the sweet Active Sight sound. "Melancholic" as The Phoenecian called it, but I guess all need that blue melancholy feeling every now and then... I'm in the second minute of track and I already know just why they called this track Tears Of Joy - right now I have this 'Trance-induced smile' on my face yet I feel that warm feeling in my heart, the kind of feeling you get when you first realize you're in love. No real breakdown in this gem, just a moment of silence followed by the re-introduction of the beat & melody taht were previously playing, alongside an added sharp synth pad that just adds to the whole atmosphere. Beautiful, simply beautiful... I feel like I'm on some Ibiza beach, just relaxing to this breathtaking music. It's been a while that a Trance release made me feel this way, so if you have 1% faith in my musical taste, do not miss out on these 2 tracks.
