Astura ~ Cassiopeia | Cassandra

Astura ~ Cassiopeia
We all worshipped them with Orion's Belt, now they're back with a new promo. On the A-side is Cassiopeia; starts off with some spacey effects, then the beat drops in full glory and starts building up with some very neat elements. The breakdown features some very psychedelic sounds that leave you wandering in space, then the melody progressively builds up and the track is off! Hard to describe it or to categorize it in a sub-genre, it's just quality Trance. A second breakdown makes its way a couple of minutes later, where the melody really kicks off! Beautiful, simply beautiful, would work amazingly well on a beautiful beach (*pinches AMADEUS*
). Go get it now!
Astura ~ Cassandra
On the flipside of this vinyl is Cassandra, which starts off with a very solid bassline that is quickly followed up by a mighty quick, and the buildup commences. Again, very quality elements that lead us to a very promising breakdown. A slight piano roll can be heard in the breakdown, immediately followed by a quick mixture of sounds blending in and the beat is re-dropped, which leaves us just asking for a second prolonged breakdown, and which is quite possible considering that the track length exceeds the 10 minutes margin. And I surely wasn't mistaken... the second buildup is just heavenly: guitar sounds, very much like Envio (and somewhat better), magical strings, divine melody & chords, super-sweet piano keys... Astura just can't get any better! The beat is progressively mounted until the track finally explodes on the 7th minute... OUtstanding work from Astura, this is the kind of track that truly defines the Trance sound! Highly recommended!
