A new Trance collaboration was just released yesterday, this time between Filo & peri and Octagen. The track is called Alaska and is a beautiful melodic trancer with an uplifting touch. The Octagen Mix starts off with Octagen's trademark energetic beats, up until the track reaches the breakdown and the melody is finally unleashed: uplifting and emotional, quality Trance. After the beat is re-introduced alongside the melody and they both breakdown, another twinkling melody slightly appears but departs in a hurry leaving you asking for more... But when the main melody is replayed, this second twinkling sound reappears in complete harmony with the lead melody to truly form the peak moment of the entire track. Great work by Octagen, definetly better than his latest works.

Filo & Peri, my beloved american producers from AvB's label Armada. Who could forget such sweet tracks such as Niagara, Under The Sun, Spectrum, Juicy... They are now back under their Whirlpool guise for the B-side of this vinyl. SOlid beat & bass kick off the track, the kind of beat I just crave to play in my car! (1240 Watts anyone?
) A minimalistic lead is then introduced, followed by a slight alternation of the bassline, making it trancier and thus preparing us for the melody. I am listening to the breakdown right now and I am honestly incapable of coming out with any words to describe it... A sweet trancer, that's all I can say... as sweet as a trancer can get! Filo & Peri have never disappointed me, and they sure re-iterated that fact with this release! If you're looking for uplifting stuff, the Octagen remix will fullfill your needs. But if you're craving for a sweet melody that is bound to draw the biggest smile on your face, your answer lies in one word: Whirlpool.
