After glorious tracks like Glamorize and Clouds Like Heaven, Passiva's back with Serenity. The track is impressive from the start - a solid beat, followed by some dreamy sounds, and later on met up with a beautiful progression of synth artistry. At the 3 minute mark comes the breakdown, a breakdown that introduces one hell of a sweet melody that really fits the title of the track - Serenity! After a minute and a half of teasing, the beat is finally dropped in, leaving me imagining just how a croud of thousands would react to such beauty! There is also a second breakdown after a while that is just as enjoyable as the firstBreathtaking stuff from Passiva who are proving themselves time after time to be of the highest standards.

Armada's beloved Filo & Peri seem to feel that such a Trance masterpiece cannot be released without themselves having a touch to it! And as usual, they didn't disappoint. Typical Filo & Peri jumpy beat and minor pads surround the buildup of this baby, until the breakdown is finally let out of its cage early on in this shorter remix. Dark pads, whispering sounds, and the previously-heard synth keys circulating in the background. To that blend is added the beautiful chords of the main melody, and finally the melody itself! It seems the Armada boys wanted to give the melody a dreamier touch, and the beat a spicier one! And the result - total tunage! Boy what a vinyl, highly recommend to all true trancers out there. Two thumbs up!
