Yves Deruyter ~ Born Slippy

Underworld's Born Slippy has been remixed by a number of jocks, and recently by Paul van Dyk himself (we were hoping to hear it in his set here but didn't). Now it has been given a French "retouche" by Yves Deuyter. Powerful beats, typical Yves style, and the male vocals are actually muted, with just a small sample being looped in the background. Soon enough the breakdown reaches us with a dreamy beeping sound and that classic Born Slippy melody. The synth are then slowly built-up, and the track kicks off into an uplifting monster at the 5 minute mark! I'm usually not a big fan of Deruyter's works, but his baby is really something! Guaranteed to fuel the crowd's energy, especially if they're familiar with the original melody!

Yves is a nice guy. And he's not French ya Dionysos. He's Belgian! I've met him a couple of times. He doesnt live that far from me.
It's a shame though that lately he isn't co-producing with M.I.K.E. anymore

All the old YDR tracks used to have a highly recognizable Mike touch.
But the Born Slippy remake sure sounds good though...
