Don't be put off by the cheesy title, this is by no means a cheesy release. We're seeing quite a good load of Hard Trance releases the past few weeks, as if the Hard Trance scene is witnessing a resurrection after the dormant phase it went through. Acid meets Trance in this release (I miss that 303 sound!) and there's no need to describe how hard the beats are; let's just settle for "hard, very hard". "The Son Of Hard Trance", the title being even cheesier than Slave To The Rave, even has some psy influences in the second breakdown, but they quickly get substituted with the initial sound. This is more "club speakers" material than "home speakers" material, but a word had to be said about the release for those still loyal to the harder side of Trance... *looks at commando*
