Ferry Corsten is, in my opinion, the biggest name in Trance history, both as a DJ and a producer. He is one of the people who actually created the Trance sound back in the days (when the likes of Tiesto were still spinning Acid House), and he is the one who always had a hand in the evolution of the Trance sound, a clear example being this "electro-Trance" sound that SamEr is talking about. I don't care about awards, I don't care about how many people will show up to his gig here, I don't care about how famous he is in Lebanon compared to Tiesto, I don't care about what DVDs he released, Ferry Corsten is the one name that cannot be challenged by any other Trance DJ nor Trance producer no matter who he is. Being ranked #1 in a magazine for a couple of years in a row is something, being the mastermind behind the creation and the evolution of the richest form of music ever to be conceptualized is one totally different thing.

i remember a tune for him but i don't remember its name..

There is one Genesis, but there is also a Melodic|Uplifting Trance producer called Genix, and the latter is more likely to be featured on a Ferry Corsten tracklist...
