Ayana is the new project between HeatUK resident and six:thirtyrecords supremo Ian Betts and New Zealand's favourite Trance export Ollie Leighs. Ian continues to be one of the fast rising stars in Trance, with gigs at Cream in Ibiza, Dance Valley, and South West Four, alongside his HeatUK residency, and a string of acclaimed productions that have been championed by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, and Judge Jules. Ollie is one of the highest regarded and popular DJs in London, having played at all the major venues and promotions, including regular appearances at Turnmills for promotions such as The Gallery and BecomeOne, and is a successful producer in his own right.
The original mix is an epic piece of lushly-produced Trance that builds to a massive crescendo sweeping you away on wave after wave of emotion. Its subtle synth lines combine to create a huge sound, which makes for a powerful breakdown that kicks back in with real energy. On the flip, Trance's man of the moment and Discover favourite John O'Callaghan dons his Inertia guise with Neal Scarborough to create a pulsating monster of a remix. Taking the track into darker techier territory, their remix captures all the anthemic power of the original yet gives it a brooding throbbing twist.
