what do you get when you mix one of Sasha's best productions "Xpander" with one of Underworld's best productions "Cowgirl" by one of the finest Finnish DJs "Orkidea"? surely one hell of a trancer combining the best of the three delivering a total stormer!!

the track starts off as a pounding remix of "Xpander" before the famous lyrics of "Cowgirl" starts hitting us like there's no tomorrow!! a perfect blend of these 2 tracks with additional tweaking by Orkidea himself making this track a beautiful journey into trance.. and that's just the A-Side!!

On the B-Side we got another HUGE surprise!! though i should mention beforehand that the promo has a printing error as the track was labeled as DJ Orkidea - Requiem (DJ Orkidea Rhythm Mix) (which is due to get a release soon) instead of the actual track on the promo that is Vangelis - Procession (DJ Orkidea Remix) and what a track this is!!

for the ones who arent familiar with "Vangelis" - Real Name: "Evanghelos Odyssey Papathanassiou" the very famous greek musician and composer who produces Ambient/Classical Music, a genius who started writing music at the age of 4 and performed his 1st live performance at the age of 6!!! (everyone at least heard one production by him especially his famous "Conquest of Paradise"). He's one of the main influences of all modern dance music, along pioneers like Mike Oldfield, Yanni, and Jean Michel Jarre to name a few..
"Procession" is one of his masterpieces that was produced long ago and realease on his "The City" CD back in 1990. A wonderful journey into magical music.. the sound of violins is just enchanting and the melody is so captivating with somehow "weird" lyrics from a female vocalist along some powerful male enchantings.. add up to this a banging bassline and some additional trancy instruments by Mr. "Orkidea" himself!! the result is not a clubbing hit but infact a musical masterpiece that screams MELODIC TRANCE still exists!! just the violin intro alone is guaranteed to give you goosebumps till u reach the last 4 minutes of the track where the tracks completly transforms into a FULL ON trancer!! an amazing 10 minutes of pure bliss! a track that will stay on my fav. list for a long time!!
