Mike Shiver has gotten us used to quality melodic Trance, so this mix is definetly melodic by nature. The regular melodic buildup with some hints from the vocals, until the breakdown is attained after slightly less than 3 minutes: deep pads, natural sound effects, then nothing but Carrie's angelic voice! Soon enough, the melody decides to join in, and as you can imagine things only get better from here on. A beautiful vocal trancer that perfectly fits Armin's playlist. Sweetness!

Elevation has frown to become a synonym to quality Progressive Trance. He started out as Markus Schulz's adopted artist and has not grown to immense heights in the Trance scene, with this collaboration with Trance master Mike Shiver as an example. As expected, this mix starts off more laid-back, with all sorts of dreamy progressive sounds circulating all around. No real breakdown in this one, just a kaleidoscope of progressive elements in supreme harmony generating a beautiful piece of art that has Elevation written all over it!



This is one of those releases in which vocals actually enhance the song rather than deteriorate it like in some other cases. Each mix offers something different, making this release truly unmissable.
