Akesson - Flavour Park (Original Mix)
This highly anticipated track has been played several times by major DJ's already and is in many FSOE fans "most wanted" lists aswell! This track could best be described as a journey through upliftingland! The typicall fast and strong build-ups is something this label is well known for and this one is certainly no excepting for that! The whole production sounds really top notch and just brilliantly mixed and mastered. The pounding bassline will keep you going for a while and when the melody suddenly changes you get the "Aly&Fila" feeling aswell! Akesson did really listen good to his 'masters'. The break is something you won't regret hearing as it's full of suspence! The main riff has just totally blew me away instantly! Soo much energy is literally exploding! I have to agree it's quite a simple melody, but damn it's addictive! I'm totally sure no-one can't escape from this catchy monster! Totally over this one! Love it!
Akesson - Without You (Original Mix)
Most two track EP's excists over only one one real beast! But this one is really an excpetion to that fact. Don't expect some "EP" filling track here! No this is just as strong and powerfull as "Flavour Park" is! The buildup is once again created with such an impact it's just taking you in it's slipstream towards the break! A more 'hands in the air' feeling you will get here as it's got a wild sweeping lead coming in which absolutely explodes aswell in the climax! The melody is somewhat more emotional and with the additional piano later on it's clear to be that way! What a lovely crafted production from this Swedish lad! Not something you will hear that often i think! It's definitely not a generic piece of trance you hear in every liveset! It's very hard to be original nowadays, but Bjorn did a very good effort with this one!
Conclusion:
Another FSOE recordings release goes in like warm bread from the baker! This EP is constantly giving you energy and something quite fresh and melodic! Bjorn Akesson just proved himself capable to produce two perfectly matching tracks which makes a brilliant EP! This one is just a must-have for everyone who digs trance! I'm heavily supporting this one! Top notch stuff!
