Long time Swiss DJ and Producer Tatana Sterba is back with another release. I was checking out beatport last night and I found this one there, and I couldn't help notice the track name. Having remembered Veracocha's very own Carte Blanche release - which I'm deeply in love with and it's producers - I just had to download this one. I assumed that this was another remake by DJ Tatana since she's been remaking some tracks lately such as Delerium's Silence (which was simply brilliant!), so I gave this one another try. Mind you, I'm a huge fan of remakes.

So here's my review:
The track is at a lower BPM than the original by Veracocha and starts off with the original's very recognizable intro sound sample. Anyone who already heard the track will know EXACTLY which sample I'm talking about. The remake's structure is totally different but the melodies are the same. Bassline is pretty different though; more groovey if I may add. Tatana's kicks in this track are good too since they fit well with the bassline. Her track builds up very well till it reaches the breakdown (duh!), and that's where she adds her very own synth for the main melody. I had high hopes for her own version of the main melody but quite frankly I wasn't too impressed by it. Synth used is different and the sequence of the melody's flow is slower than the original. It's not too bad and not good; just moderate. The build up was pretty good though! Nothing special but very well produced.
All in all, it was a really good attempt at remaking Carte Blanche. I actually enjoyed this one and it was worth the buy!
