Perspective helps to create the illusion of reality by locating forms in space according to certain conventions. Your understanding of nature and correct observation make the difference between an awkward perspective and one that is convincing.

The Basic Perspective formed in late 2003 when Gabriel Lukosz and Arthur Schmidt realized they had the same interest and drive for melodic and unique electronic music.

Gabriel is fluent in Czech as well as dance music. With a background in piano and computers, Gabe had always been more inspired by the production side of dance music and picked up DJing secondly after making tracks for 3 years. After a solo project and being part of a talented electronic band, he has been able to develop his productions for making tasteful melodies and rhythms.

Arthur has been DJing since 2001 and has been mainly influenced by melodic trance & breaks. Opening up for some of the worlds best as of his 21st birthday, including Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Gabriel & Dresden, & closing for Paul Oakenfold, Arthur has the natural ability to energize crowds . He quickly learned to produce since the Basic Perspective formed and has been creating mind twisting tracks & melodies.

After pulling off club rocking remixes for Ozzy Osbourne, Interstate, Dire Straights, and Niklas Harding, together they have produced original progressive music that has caught the attention from the likes of Gabriel & Dresden, Jon O Bir, Tiesto, Markus Schulz, and Above & Beyond. With their releases on Conspiracy along with Anjunadeep, and being aired on shows such as 'Global DJ Broadcast' , 'ASOT' & 'Trance Around the World' this duo are creating sounds that can please both dancefloors and long time trance listeners.

Average EP :) .

Favorite would be "The Last Leaf". The elements fit in so well!

"Cause & Effect" is a pretty decent track as well, its in the 'Breakz' sub-genre, though I didn't really fancy the kick as much ... it fit it throughout the song.

"Gravioli" & "Seperation" were average, not much melody involved. Good fillers imo.

"Order Up" had a funkish feel to it in the beginning. Must've been that bassline. Unfortunately, the vibe died out after the breakdown.

Personally rating: 3/5
Releases:
- Rodrigo Mateo - Carbon Monoxide (Praveen Achary Remix) [Baires Records]
- Alter Breed - Blue White (Praveen Achary Remix) [Spherax Recordings]
- Praveen Achary - Butterflies [Mirabilis Recordings]
- Praveen Achary - Pull My Legato [MakTub Music]
