Listening..
First of all, i thought you'd be producing it..?You're only mixing it with beats..
Secondly, the mix is so bad honestly...Many missmacthes, bad volumes...dunno..seems u did it with BPM Studio..right? (i knew it from the effect )
so, i can't consider this a remix man.. no serious work in it..u just mixed beats with it .. In addition, it is a bad mix.
my advice to u is to first listen more to trance..
Second, to practive live mix more ... You really need to practice ur ears..
and Third, if u really want to "remix" (in the real meaning) trance tracks, u should produce.. (it needs of course musical ears if u didn't take any music course).

i previously mentioned it's my first remix and it has a number of flaws and thx for ur critics they gave me some future plans
as for the program, i used ejay mixstation. it sucks so i didn't hope much and that's what i got. i did it around 2 months ago when i started doing some small tweaks to songs, but please i really need some serious programs so if you know some plz share!!
btw, i do take music courses (i'm also a drummer) so making a rythm is my job!

btw, raneem, how do YOU define a remix? i'm a bit confused now

Gave it a listen, and i'll be a little constructive in the comments .

First of all, I'll explain the defination of remix and rework.

In a rework: You maintain the same mix of the song and give it some more additional productions into it (ie: Percussion and/or Synths).

In a remix: You ecompletely make the track yours by making new melodies / basslines / percussions with maybe a different structure as well. Most of the time, the melody is taken from the original mix and if you have to .. you either tweak the melody at parts or you keep it.

Hope that sorta sums it up. As of listening to the track, I see that you've done a 'Rework' ... since you kept the original the same and just added percussion.

Secondly, concerning the track itself.

Try keeping the beats in sync with the track as well as the original beats itself, also ... keep track of the bars. Ejay isn't a very good production tool ... honestly. Try going for "Propeller Reason" or "Fruity Loops". Its gonna be really tough to start off with ... but no one said it'll be easy .


Everyone starts off somewhere ... keep at it.

yeah i'll check the production room VERY soon. and guess what: i'm downloading fruity loops now it's 6.0.8 and around 55 Mb so i'll have to be patient for a while

Fruity Loops is a good tool i guess ive been trying to figure it out for months now and no luck .....So PROOF do you know anylinks for tutorials?
@ Flame:Dude with all due respect but 1) this track is 2 years old now try at a new track month or few weeks old or maybe the new releases.2)WORKING WITH EJAY MIXSTATION Dude thats the worst tool you can use after the Sound Forge and all those wave mp3 editors *that u can cut and paste beats and make a remix* mumbo jumbo...Try Fruity Loops and Ableton Live those are great tools....

i say again: i'm a <b> NEW </b> Trancer so it's obvious i'm not as experienced as u are, and i do my best to absorb knowledge from here and there. i'm currently downloading Fruity loops i'll try ableton as well, not to mention that i'm hoarding my pc with trance (ya haram i have an 80 Gb disk only 1.5 Gb is free )

^LOOOL Doesnt matter new or old trancer, but you should experiment do variations try and get samples online mix and see.....Bit by bit youll get better.....Doesnt have to be the latest trance track you are working on but dont let commercial tracks get in your way.....As i said the key word is EXPERIMENT new things....
