Initially I had planned to call this "Detroit 2 Berlin", but I figured since its coming from Beirut then it would make sense to add this great capital, furthermore, In my dreams I hope that one day Beirut could become a techno heavyweight capital where the underground culture will become well rooted among techno enthusiasts.
Detroit, the city that bestowed the gift of techno on the world. Berlin, the city that made techno a worldwide underground phenomena, and Beirut well my hometown for the time being, and a place that I love very much!
I did this set with you bronko in mind (NO NOT THAT WAY!). I thought that this would be a perfect warmup to your Berlin techno ventures next weekend, further more this is all big room stuff. This is basically that stuff I would play in a gig.
It turned out to be a mixture of old skool berlin vibes with some 'Underground Resistance' sounds looming in the background of every track. It worked well. Here goes!
