Apart from putting on a dramatic show every time he's on the pitch, he still managed over 40 goals in one season...... and he's not even a striker.

I'm with Serge here. I hate this guy more than any other football player on Earth. His arrogance, show-off and love for money are just too many negative points for me that i can't accept the fact that he won, although 40 goals make a big impression. For me, this year it's Casillas all the way, and he ended 4th.

Guys he is Young and a famous talented soccer player,let him enjoy the spotlight,eventually he will mature some more and stop the childish stuff he does sometimes,if any of us was in his place would probably do the same,And don't forget that no one ever abused his looks and lived the showbiz life to the max as much as David Beckham did.

He doesn't shine in the big games. He had a less than average Euro 2008. He's arrogant & immature. He's started the current season in less than world-class fashion. But the bottom line is that he still managed to score 42 goals last season & helped man utd to secure the double.
