Guys, i think i'm starting to believe in destiny... it's only a draw, but... what we have here is simply amazing:
Switzerland-Turkey (remember the World Cup 2006 play-off and what happened after the 2nd leg in Istambul?)

Poland-Germany (we want our revenge from World Cup 2006!!!)

Holland-Romania (already together in Euro08 Qualifications)

France-Italy (not only together in Euro08 Qualifications but also faced each other in the World Cup 2006 Final )

Spain-Sweden (together in Euro08 Qualifications)



Group of Death? It's C for me!

I wanted to miss Switzerland and Austria, cuz although they are on the paper weaker than Poland, they are playing on their land! But we can beat Austria and Croatia (their style is similar to the Serbs). Opening game vs Germany. I think it's good cuz Beenhakker knows how to motivate players, and starting against a big team from the start is good! We got 4 points from Portugal, we can get 1 or 3 from Germany.

Destiny or not Group C is simply scary...most probably the toughest group phase we'll see in years whether it is Euro or WC...

^What about Argentina-Holland-Ivory Coast-Serbia last WC?

Ivory Coast is a good team, so is Serbia. But they don't have the really high level of football of Argentina and Holland. Argentina won 2 World Cups and i think 17 Copa Americas. Their youth team is also quite impressive. Holland reached twice the World Cup final and won Euro Cup in 1988.
Here we have Holland, France and Italy (5 World Cups + 4 Euro Cups all together) with a huge list of talents. In addition Romania improved lately and can do something.
