Who watched the game must agree that Burnley had the most amazing fans, the way they stood up for the team, screamed and boowed each time a MU player had the ball, the way they cheered each minor poistive play or pass their team attempted, how the goal was celebrated by both the scorer and the raging fans and the the save of the penalty kick by their good keeper jensen. Burnley's were comming from a loss in the 1st game of their 1st premier league since he team was founded 1880's and had the motivation of playing against the troubled English champs. That was meant to Be Burnley's night and they got what thy deseve. I'm really not sad after United's loss, they will definitly get back on track.

Lucas is shiate...by no means of PL standards. No matter how bad you think how Alonso was (or good) he can still control the tempo of the game and deliver passes and set pieces. Lucas does absolutely nothing on the pitch and loses an unbelievable number of balls. Aquilani better step up his game.

Liverpool really took in a deep throat last night. I'm a firm believer they can turn things around though. Liverpool (and more so Man United as well) start their seasons slowly and click into gear a few weeks down the line. Anybody would be a fool for ruling them out of the title contention.
I'd be very wary of Tottenham though.

Gerrard seemed tired in that game. At the end he was just throwing himself into tackles. Look at the foul he conceded for the penalty: he could've conceded a foul just seconds before that for an even worse tackle.
