Ayla are the combined talents of the German duo DJ Tandu and DJ Taucher. Apparently the name Ayla is Turkish and is inspired by a girl who was in the studio at the time of the first production. DJ Tandu is also related to other projects including Montoya (Underwater), Elastique Culture (La Musique), Tarot (Chariot) and Intrance (Te Quierro). Remixes include DJ Sakin (Protect Your Mind), In-Mood (Deeper Than Deep) and Marino Stephano (Eternal Rhapsody).

Ayla's album NIRWANA is one my favorite Trance albums of all time (alongside Three Drives ~ Melodies From The Universe and another1 which slipped my mind now...)
