b018 ceased to have any glimpse of what can be considered "underground" the day it was purchased by ftv arabia few years ago. you can like it or not, but it surely has nothing underground anymore. in all cases, underground notion is obsolete in 2010. unless you go to a party in a rat whole in estonia and yet, it'll surely be facebooked and youtubed

as for mixfm behavior, don't know, they surely have their reasons. am though hearing lots of similar stories and it seems they have more and more "dissatisfied customers", which is not very intelligent considering that they are in the events business in a small country

Im writting an article on 3 major mags & newspapers + University newspaper...

I was picked on by a big organisation, and im going to have fun writing about it and then sending it to all my contacts all over the world.

Featuring 2 huge artists... What is mix fm doing for the scene ??? Absolutely nothing, the way I see it, our scene lies with our djs, and the more time our Djs are still in Lebanon not touring the world pub by pub and releasing tracks, the worse our scene will be.... our country is not known for its djs and music and artists, but for its parties ? and its orgies? and its drug fests ? this is what mix fm / poliakov / Q maybe contributing for... but to create a good scene, we need to represent our country to the world, and proove to them what our scene is capable of.

Yet there are still many ways for them to get recognised... apart from that local warm up and closing... weekly parties, themes, cd launchings, shows, road shows, .... (i.e fady aswad's minimal night @ bistro every few weeks , or silver factory gigs , or wonder bar parties but earlier ...)

From my point of view... money and contacts are missing. I know that it's how it works everywhere, but in Lebanon for now it's the only way to make things work. Blaming people doesn't help solve this issue, i think that it has to do more with the local culture. But of course people's personalities also play a role in this "wasta w masare". MixFM is too powerful since as a radio it is among the top favorites of the young generation. Competition will do a lot of good to the scene, bring a lot of diversity and new ideas so i wish you good luck! Hopefully your plan will work you surely know that it will take time, maybe even a lot.
