Foreign Media Games, part of the Foreign Media Group, have formed a unique collaboration with Armin van Buuren. This fall, Armada Music, Cloud 9 Music and Foreign Media Games will release a Nintendo Wii game based on the number one DJ of the world, Armin van Buuren. The game, ‘ARMIN VAN BUUREN - IN THE MIX’, allows players to experience for themselves what it is like to be a DJ like Armin, mixing electronic dance music and interacting with the audience.

The game will contain many of Armin van Buuren’s music masters and features artists he often works with. To make the experience complete, Armin will also include unique, never before released material in the Wii game. Players can use the available effects, loops and individual parts to mix music. Wii functionality will be optimally utilized to maximize the music mixing experience.

Armin van Buuren, awarded World's Best DJ for the second consecutive year, is proud to be the first DJ in the world to have his own Wii game. ‘ARMIN VAN BUUREN - IN THE MIX’ will be released internationally, this fall, by Foreign Media Games. Eywaaaaa... and they say that Trance won't become commercial, or that there's nothing wrong in commercializing it oh boy, i wish that i had a magic power like Harry Potter to take the whole scene back to the underground.

I love playing video games (Need For Speed and Pro Evolution Soccer are my favorites, also loved Medal Of Honor 6-5 years ago) but sorry, this move isn't a smart one (please refrain yourself from replying to this by saying that it's smart because there are profits involved). Those big DJs have reached a point where they are really rich compared to us normal clubbers. It's normal to make more and more and more and more and mooooore (*yawns*) money but i'm convinced that such DJs as PvD, Tiesto and Armin make a lot of it just by playing at events.

So being true to myself, being the fanatic that i am about the purity of this beautiful music, screw all of you (you = who are in favor of such moves) and everyone who wants to commercialize Trance (or even EDM in general)
