Most importantly, he has got a dream job over there. Something that he's been studying for all his life (particularly the last 6 years) has finally came his way. Not only do I want to congratulate him for what very few people in his situation, or age for that matter, have accomplished but I want to wish him the best and the utmost success a 24-year-old-ambitious-hairy-monkey can have.
I haven't known Dion personally, so I might not be the perfect person to start this thread, but if I knew his personally I wouldn't be able to put a sentence together and might end up doing something stupid like farting the alphabet as a goodbye. So maybe it's best that I'm not there looking at him, getting lost in his.... thick glasses. I'm sure everybody's going to miss him and I'm also sure he'll be missing a lot more than his mum's spectacular home-made burgers (that I am yet to try by the way). If I was in Lebanon I would definitely feel a void from the distance forcing a good friend away. I've already lost them all because of that void when I left but I'm sure Dion won't forget where he came from and him visiting frequently should keep things pretty much unchanged.
I want to wish him strength (both mentally and sexually.. well.. meeeeh) and the most of luck. Don't think he needs luck: he knows what he's doing and he knows it's right - but just the success in playing his cards right.
Dion, you've a very hard emotionally-draining day ahead of you today so good luck dealing with that. I can't think of any more deserving person for the wonderful opportunity you've got for a prospect future for yourself and family-to-be than yourself. Have a safe journey, enjoy your job, take that fucking baseball cap off, and don't fart in the middle of meetings... People will point!!!
So join me people in wishing Dion all the best in the journey he's about to embark upon...
