TH's server is fucking SLOW!

Why the heck TH's server has been getting even slower and slower for the last month ?

Probably some sort of overload. I recall esam mentioned this in another thread

Indeed OVERRRRRRload especially Googlebot. I asked the ISP for more RAMs but they couldnt since we have reached our limit :roll:

I did some limitation and fine tuned the apache (web server) and mysqld (database) to solve memory leaks & any waste of resources. If you remember the forum used to die in the past but now not much. I did the cheap way by fine tuning but if it continued to die & affectin the performance then I have no other choice but the expensive one

That is hardware upgrade: RAMS & CPU

Anyways time will tell...

^We have 2 forums on auto-prune (auto delete) because posts in these forums are considered useless after a certain period of time. These forums are: The Lounge & Fun.

^^Donation will help but its a temp solution since the bill comes monthly. We are open to any suggestion though

^^^TH runs on linux platform so IIS wont work. Generally speaking Apache should do a great job so the problem isnt in the application
