Google Chrome

Postby Nicktalopia » Mon Sep 08, 2008 6:45 pm

Anyone tested it yet?

Speed wise it's a lot faster than Firefox and ie load time and application call time.
Pages that need 1 minute to load with different browser would take less than 30 seconds with google chrome.
It's still in Beta phase,so it's not 100% stable or secure but looks promising so far, specially when addons will start flooding.

I recommend it for people in lebanon,i suffered for a while with my ISP and how limited the connection is but with GC everything loads on ADSL speed now.

So it's worth dumping firefox for it??

I might just give it a shot...

Just like Malaria takes over a person's body when it hits them i want my music's originality to control the soul of whoever hears it in that sense my music is more powerful than Malaria, and I'm sure it will but in a positive way of

I'm happy with Safari at the moment.

It's really impressive how Google have evolved over the years from a simple
search engine to... well... everything right now. Really impressive.

Not yet because everyones eye on google chrome and trying to find an exploit in it then put it on the microscope to ruin it's rapid growing launch, they stole Firefox's thunder and ff will sure retaliate, hopefully by improving firefox APP call engine or use GC's one since it's open source.

To many people google is the internet just like AOL used to be years ago,the only company that should fear GC is microsoft and their crappy ie because it's the perfect replacement for ie..until addons are available the real competition with ff starts.

An issue exists in how chrome behaves with undefined-handlers in chrome.dll version 0.2.149.27. A crash can result without user interaction. When a user is made to visit a malicious link, which has an undefined handler followed by a 'special' character, the chrome crashes with a Google Chrome message window "Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed. Restart now?". It crashes on "int 3" at 0x01002FF3 as an exception/trap, followed by "POP EBP" instruction when pointed out by the EIP register at 0x01002FF4.

 That was quick..

I use Firefox since July and i like it a lot, much better than Avant. And i downloaded Google Chrome to check it out. I like the colors and the interface. It has some nice functions but it took some ideas from Firefox. And yea Microsoft should fear Google, IE is total crap.
Haven't fully tested GC yet.
