Choosing the right Headphones

Postby c-rouge » Thu Jan 18, 2007 1:33 pm

Im looking for a good quality, good dynamic range headphone. I will be using it on my laptop, playing around for some new music. I have Alesis MK II monitors but I cant carry them home everynight :D

I found Creative HQ 1700
http://www.creative.com/products/produc ... duct=11164

I cant find this product in Lebanon yet.
So, Any other suggestions?

THANK YOU :)

Would you use your headphones for DJ'ing or Production?

I'd go for a flat one if ur goin for production ...

I didn't really understand what you were talking about here, I mean, will you be using them for leisure, DJing or Production?

If for Production, you'll need as flat as possible headphones.

If it's for Leisure and/or DJ'ing, SKULLCANDY have in my opinion some of the best models on the market.
Check them out at http://www.skullcandy.se/

I got converted to skull candy!!

Only problem, i'm almost sure they're not available in Lebanon, but you can order them Online. Another problem: they're a bit more expensive then competition.

Sorry for my late reply

I will use it for music productions, to be more specific, trance EDM ofcourse :)
Now I got one Altec Lansin from Virgin, it was around 30$ but its very flat, cant use it...

so what other choices we got ?? There are lot of good headphones but the problem is we are in Lebanon, its not very helpful to give me only weblinks like amazon :)

thanks for ur help!

too flat for productions mate, lacking bass, treble & low volume. my Creative earphones are more powerful than this headphones...
