J00F - Global Trance Grooves 40 (August 06)

Nicholas Bennison is a new name for me. I loved this set from the Brit that
ranged from Techtrance and drifted sligtly to Psytrance in the second half
of his set. I particularly loved his tune Exocet!
J00F on the other hand delivers a set from the Winter Electronic Music
Festival where he headlined in Toronto, Canada.
Introducing some fresh material such as his remix of Fused and Human
Blue's Terpsicore plus a Ricky Smith's remix of Mandrake shaped up an
exquisite set by J00F that never fell beneath my expectations.

Good stuff from both men!

If your trance was a pretty blonde ballerina; then what I listen to is a peed-off bulky bouncer pounding the living shit out of your ballerina.

I too recently unearthed Bennison through the release of Exocet actually, which I highly recommended to techy-SamEr. I've believed in blending TechTrance with PsyTrance ever since my Dithyrambs days, and Nicholas is the second DJ I see doing that successfully (besides Christopher Lawrence). As for the J00F's set, I got only one word: EnDeLeXiAaA!
