He is a pioneer , and i saw him so many times , he brought so much energy and diversity every single time !!

But i havent seen him in 3 years , so i dont know how he plays now ! but i am sure his skills are brilliant ....

Here is my 1st comment/reply ! wtvr .. on this forum after years of watching and checking ur opinions ..

Let me start with this event , RESPECT to mixfm with all ... lets forget a little bit abt technical problems that might happen in any event like this and talk a little for the better organization .. maybe its not what we are looking for 100% but at least im sooooooo happy to seethat they were filtering people and keeping that looks out as much as they can we cnt deny that other organizers dont work for this thing ! or maybe they do but not like mixfm's latest events [ Sander Kleinenberg , Markus Schulz , & THE HERO !! Sasha] just that it needs being more carful , after all thanks to mixfm for delivering this quality of events .. and its not easy thing ppl !

The event was gooood much better thn other events after all ! .. sasha's music was goood i expected better honestly but after knowing the problem that happened all what i can say is RESPECTTT again !! he's rly such a hero .. not a legend only .. i couldnt check madjams's set because i arirved like 1:30 .. but of course no doubts abt how could it be .. as usual :) perfect ! .. now HAILZ to gunther & stamina's after-hours specially that people didnt leave all stayed and rly enjoyed ! .. all in all its such a good event and hope 2 see better ones !

Thats my opinion guys ! respecting all of course .. Cheers !!

I arrived at around 12h50 at BIEL. I was listening to MadJam's set on the way and I was loving it ! MAdjam is doing great job ! I guess he kept it "down" because he wanted Sasha to unleash the madness on the dancefloor , I loved when he played Mango (sascha Funke right?)
Sasha : ... I wasn't a very big fan of sasha before the gig , and hearing people talking and hearing the add ,and after listening to the whole Invol2ver Album (that ramitto gave me) a few hours before the night, I was expecting my mind to change after the gig ... but it didnt. Sasha is overrated. nothing special about his music , the first 3 tracks were amazing , totally unpredictable , but then it was boring , didnt find it at all complex , it was simply boring . I don't know if Sasha always plays like this (coz as I said i've never been a great fan of him) or what was he doing yesterday night. he played a few good tracks (like Gui Boratto's remix of Impressed , and gebrunn gebrunn and Coma) but overall nothing special. Sasha's music was good at some point and boring at some point. the last 3 tracks he played were amazing.
Gunther and Stamina : (loool there's a friend who said to me : Gunther w stamina "fantaro 3a sasha" , I personally think that he's right) , thank god, when you know that G&S are closing , you know that it's worth to wait for the main DJ to finish his set... G&S's set was perfect , very similar to Schulz's closing. and the crowd was diggin the music as usual .

-best setup I've ever seen, the stars were amazing.
-sound system sucked at the back ... BIG TIME
-glad to see that the tecktonicks are finally banned from Mix's events.
-everyone had enough space to dance.

nice event, thanks to MAdjam and G&S .

Digweed >>>>>>>>>> Sasha (for me)

so I dont know , maybe it was me only , I didnt get into sasha's music that night ...

u can truely see the disapointment of Sasha in the pictures. his crowd interaction wasn't as seemless as it shld'v been. u wld see him smokin furiously, and even the guy from prodigy with sasha ( the guy with the NY baseball cap on) was desperate to salvage anything from the maven. but now the fact that the event was only on abelton makes a person respect Sahsa evenmore.
btw gr8 pics house all i got was smoke.:)

LOL. He's "overrated" because of MixFM's irresponsible and at times ridiculous advertising. And Sasha is not a DJ to be "rated" - he's past that stage - he's been spinning and producing music for fucking DECADES. And his set wasn't techno, wasnt minimal, wasnt tech - it was out of this world. As soon as G&S played their first track - I felt as if the journey was truly over because it was so unique, (not the mind-blowing/gut-busting journey that MixFM promised everyone haha ) - and despite G&S playing a nice after with quality/perhaps unknown tracks, but nonetheless it was as if it was all back to the normal music, readily obtainable from Beatport or your local source. Sasha was something completely new, different, fresh, yet very very very minimalish in terms of elements and also fucking TWISTED. When you remove all the "khashab" and repetitive melodies, hi-hats, ALLLL THAT SHIT - it's electronic beauty at it's most vulnerable - when it's NAKED AND THERE FOR THE TAKING!
