Relax, that's not what I meant with loyalty you old fart.

He'll come to Pool, win what he wants, then move somewhere else to win it again. That's what I meant. You can't tie the man down, not with money, not with glory. Thats how his head works; I'm the special one, I go accomplish what can't be accomplished and rub it in.

Ego.

That's what matters to him. That's what drives him. You can't get him committed to a club for over 5 years and Pool is not Chelski; Pool want continuity & results. Chelski had 5 managers in 3 years. If Pool are desperate for a title that bad, then be it; get Mourinho, he'll win it, and walk out on the yankees in 3 years time.

Just my opinion. I wouldn't trust Mourinho in terms of commitment. He's his own man and that's no good (not always anyway).

Inter will do strictly nothing next year if they don't get a playmaker. Juventus have a more complete squad, maybe not as prestigious names as Inter's squad, but certainly equally as good (especially with the addition of Caceres, 3 players for the price of one!). It's a tough one this year, but I'm positive about Juventus, we already beat Real Madrid in the pre-season and team is clicking on all cylinders.

As for Xabi Alonso, it's Pool's loss. I don't see Aquilani replacing him in the same way, and he'll be forming a terrifying duo with Lass in the midfield at the Bernabeu.

I like the new Juve and I'm expecting much from them, I think Giovinco could be a key player this season
I think Viera and Sneijder (if he ever make it to inter) can do the job as playmakers for the Nerazuries, + they just bought today very promissing 20 years old Austrian Phenomena, a certain Arnautovic

Lass might have gone to Milan as part of Kaka's deal.

First, thats a horrible myth... what makes you think that you can't tie Maurinho down? because he left Chelski? you said it yourself chelski had 5 managers in 3 years... Maurinho never quit chelski.. he got fired by an idiot named Ibramovic (probably cause Maurinho wouldn't tolerate him interfering with his job as a manager) and he paid the price dearly not being able to find a manager that is good enough to shine Maurinho's shoes..

Second, says who that liverpool need the same manager for the next 10 years? does Barca have long term managers? RM? Milan? Inter? Juve? Bayern?
players move along and switch clubs for countless reasons, why should managers be any different? Managers no matter how good more often than not end up needing to be replaced..
no thanks, give me Maurinho for 2 years any day.. a "stability" manager of the likes of Wenger and Arsenal that has been producing one failure after another for 6 years now andmight likely be playing for the UEFA cup next eason.

You can't expect results with different managers walking in and out every season.

You need continuity. Just because Wenger hasn't won anything, doesn't make him a poor manager - he brought more cups for Arsenal than any other manager. Ferguson & David Moyes are other examples.
Liverpool don't need a new manager - they need an owner that can provide capita for the transfer market. I think they are well managed, if it's up to me; i'd leave in Benitez, give him 80 Mill as a transfer fee to play with and you'll see what he can do.

Just an opinion....

well put, but with the major flaw assumption that Maurinho if he came would leave after he got his first PL title... needless to say these are just pipe dreams.. i wouldn't want Maurinho until we get DIC or the Kuwaiti option.. or any other option instead of the worthless yanks... that didn't put a single dollar in the club and only loaded it with debt and sucked it dry, lying all the god damn way, but what else would you expect when you got owners that are best friends with G.W. Bush?.. until we get some decent owners.. i wouldn't trade the Spanish Waiter for anyone in the world... and he would rank 2nd in my book either way.. he proved it, making liverpool outperform their player capabilites in theory on many occasions.

Grosso to Juventus
Gudjohnsen to Monaco
Robben to Bayern Munich
Sneijder to Inter

both Robben and Sneijder already played a game in their new team

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich reached an agreement in the last hours of the summer transfers and Ribery will join RM next summer, in exchange Van der Vaart will go to BM.

^ Weird indeed, but it's similar to Cristiano's case  he came this summer instead of 2008.

And now Ribery commits himself to Bayern and then turn his back to the club and move to RM after 10 months

The big news is that Chelsea has been banned from buying any player until 2011, hope Man city & Madrid to follow
